Did you ever wonder why there is not enough storage space on your iPhone and the iPad? With a first-class lawsuit that was filed this week against Apple, in which it is alleged that the recent upgrade to the new iOS 8 can be blamed for the lack of storage space, one can get the answer. The company mislead customers about the amount of storage space they are getting. In the legal complaint, that was filed in California, Paul Orshan and Christopher Endara, both Miami residents, accused Apple of misleading customers in relation to the storage space they have on their iPhones and iPads. This entire lawsuit wants to make sure clients get to know about the original storage space they can get on their Apple devices.
The content of the upgrade is subject to features provided during the operating system update. However, it also takes up a lot of storage space, when the public thinks there are over eight GB of storage space available on the mobile phone, but in reality there are only 4GB. Inclusive in the lawsuit, there are graphical tables that showcase the amount of storage that goes into such kind of updates.
Apple provided no comment to the allegations. Such misinterpretations and deliberate omissions can cause the consumer to keep updating their mobile phone, and end up losing a lot of storage space. Then, they have to make use of the cloud computing which is a storage feature provided by Apple for an additional cost. This is going to be a further harassment to clients who need some storage space.
